On Monday, April 8, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. The City of Beverly Hills is proud to present writer/filmmaker/commentator David Burstein presenting Fast Future: How the Millennial Generation is Shaping Our World. Burstein’s book of the same title, called “inspiring” by Kirkus Reviews, examines how the Millennial generation is profoundly impacting politics, business, technology and culture despite being labeled “the dumbest generation.” Drawing on extensive interviews with his Millennial peers and compelling new research, Burstein will illustrate how his generation is simultaneously shaping and being shaped by a fast-paced and fast-changing world. Part of Beverly Hills’ Forum Series, the free lecture will take place in the Council Chambers at Beverly Hills City Hall (455 North Rexford Drive, Beverly Hills, CA). Burstein will have books available for sale. This event is free of charge and open to the public. Additionally, free parking is available in the Civic Center parking structure.
