This workshop is designed to help those battling cancer as well as cancer survivors.
A three-hour workshop that integrates Jewish texts and ideas about healing and creativity with art therapy. Using Jewish themes as a point of departure, each participant will be guided through the process of creating their own work of art and sharing their experiences of illness and healing through creative expression. This workshop is intended to assist people who are battling cancer as well as cancer survivors access their creativity in the service of healing, inner wisdom, and transformation.
Dr. Esther Dreifuss-Kattan is a leader in the field of art therapy and cancer. Dr. Dreifuss-Kattan is well known for her over ten years with Simms/Mann UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology: Healing Arts Group that specifically works in the fields of art therapy and cancer.
