The program will take place at Beit T’Shuvah, which is the only rehabilitation center in the United States that combines Jewish spiritual principles, the 12 steps of alcoholics anonymous, and psychotherapy. The program will focus on one of Beit T’Shuvah’s most innovative departments, Partners in Prevention. Prevention’s goal is to tear asunder the stigma that good Jewish boys and girls do not become drug addicts, prescribing spiritual progress in place of the pursuit of perfection and self-reflection in place of denial. The program will begin with speeches from Beit T’Shuvah’s CEO, rabbi, director of Partners in Prevention, and an employee in the Prevention Department, which will lead into a panel discussion between the attendees and the speakers.
