In celebration of the 14th Anniversary of the Kaufman Brentwood Branch Library’s opening in 1994, the Pacific Resident Theatre will perform a dramatic reading of Tennessee Williams’s play, The Glass Menagerie.” This event is free and open to the public. The library is located at 11820 San Vicente Boulevard in Brentwood.

Filmmaker Debbie Goodstein has taken to heart the adage, “Write what you know.” Her 1989 Holocaust documentary, “Voices From the Attic,” recounts her mother’s years of hiding in a garret where snow descended through slats in the roof, a baby died and food was scarce.
