How we purchase food for events and services is one of the many ways for institutions to express its ethics and values. Netiya wants to help communities understand how environment, food workers’ rights, consumers’ health, and small-farmers’ viability all relate to price and convenience.

Alain Cohen owner of Got Kosher? Serves USC, UCLA, Cedar-Sinai and many other hospitals in the area, Temple Emmanuel and many other religious organizations, Zimmer Museum,  Universal Theme Park, and now the challahs are in several Ralphs supermarkets.

Paula Daniels is Senior Advisor to the Mayor of Los Angeles. She specializes in sustainable food and water policy [the Good Food Purchasing Pledge was passed by the City Council with a unanimous vote.

Sue Miller is a lay leader at Leo Baeck Temple.  Miller started the LBT Green Team and is a catalyst behind the Sustainable Shabbat Program.
