Machers in the business, entertainment, academic and medical communities attended American Jewish Committee’s Distinguished Leadership Award dinner honoring Drs. Barbara and Gerald Levey at the Skirball Cultural Center on Nov. 18. Former Paramount Pictures chief Sherry Lansing served as emcee and praised the Leveys for their significant contributions to the UCLA Health System, where Dr. Gerald Levey serves as vice chancellor for medical sciences and dean of the David Geffen School of Medicine, and Dr. Barbara Levey serves as assistant vice chancellor for biomedical affairs. Philanthropist and entrepreneur Lynda Resnick presented her longtime friends with the evening’s highest honor.
