Double dating with Dad

(Page 2 - Previous Page)

That's why Morris is going to do more than read at his readings: he will play his ukulele, sing his father's and his songs, and talk to older people about their lives.

The nicest thing that has happened to Morris came after a woman read about Morris' dad -- she told the author she went home and called her parents and said, "I think I'd like to come out with the kids for a few weeks this summer."

To which Morris thought: "Bingo."

Bob Morris will read and sing at Book Soup, 8818 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, (310) 659-3110, on June 3 at 7 p.m.
