Whole Foods, wHoly wrong on Chanukah

Here’s a shout out to HEEB for spotting the full-on matzoh display at the Whole Foods on Fairfax today, with a sign blasting “Share Hanukkah Favorites”...an invite to share your favorite Chanukah recipes using….matzoh meal? Where’s the grease?
Thank, Heeb, you could almost have invented this one—cool as it is, set in the frum-adjascent neighborhood, couldn’t you?!

I hope people are aware that most Chanukah candles are coming from China or as Rokeach (owned by Manishevitz) clabels the boxes as “made in the PRC”. With China’s record what do they know about Kosher? In trying 10 different markets in my area in the past two weeks I did not find any candles made in either Israel or the US. All there were was Chinese & remember that China probably uses more pork than any other animal to render fat.
