Question: Is it a good time to start a business?

Posted by Noah Alper

Q: I am out of work with no job prospects on the horizon. Is this a good time for me to start my own business??

A):  You should not consider starting your own business if you don’t have a great idea, and the willingness to work much harder to make it happen than you would at a 9-5 job . If you do have a great idea, and the “intestinal fortitude” to see the idea through to fruition; access all of your resources, go in front of your personal “honesty mirror” and ask yourself whether the risk involved is worth the potential reward.  In today’s economy, many jobs aren’t secure and therefore entrepreneurial activity is a less risky option than it used to be.

Being an entrepreneur is no joke, I can directly it.  To be successful in your own business, you must be ready to take the risk before expecting a positive result.  In addition, you must also be willing to sacrifice all your time, effort and money as well without expecting to much.  Make the right decision and stick to your business strategy.

The basics of having a business is to know first your business.  What I mean is almost all things about your potential business like the operations.  You must also have a clear plan or strategy that you need to strictly follow in order to make everything work out.
