Nominate a student to be included in the Jewish Journal’s Outstanding High School Seniors issue!

The Jewish Journal is seeking nominations for our “Outstanding Seniors” issue. We are looking for high school seniors who have distinguished themselves as role models and leaders, either by taking on causes and following through with action, or by personally overcoming odds and thus inspiring others. These may be students who excel academically, or students who excel in other areas. Strong nominees will have a good story to tell, a narrative that explains who they are and how they came to accomplish so much.

-Students must be Jewish, and must be graduating high school (or home school, or online school, or a special needs equivalent of high school) in the greater LA area.
-Please submit up to 400 words on how this nominee has marked him or herself as someone who stands out from the crowd, including any relevant challenges or obstacles the nominee has had to overcome.
-Include any specific affiliations you know of, such as school, synagogue, camp or youth group.
-Include contact information for the student (phone and email).

Our committee will choose 10-15 seniors to profile.
We will conduct phone interviews with the seniors we choose, and will need a photograph of the student.

Nominations must received by Monday, May 7.
