Palestinians have been asked to boycott large supermarket chains in the West Bank that sell fruit and vegetables grown in Israeli settlements. At the same time, the Palestinian Authority’s economic ministry announced that it will more aggressively enforce a law that criminalizes the sale of products from the settlements, Al Jazeera reported. Goods produced in the settlements have about a 15 percent share of the Palestinian market, Al Jazeera reported, citing the PA economic ministry. |
