Nooshin Meshkaty, Beverly Hills Board of Education president, and Beverly LeMay, program manager for the Museum of Tolerance’s Tools for Tolerance, are working together to expand character education for elementary and middle school students. Meshkaty championed a new Character Education and Ethics Program with a Holocaust piece that is now required for all ninth-grade students at Beverly Hills High School. The women recently met with Myra Lurie, B.H. school board vice president, and MOT Director Liebe Geft to discuss implementing the program on a broader scale.
