A New York man who was arrested in June for dressing in an Elmo costume and shouting anti-Semitic rants in Central Park returned and again was arrested.

Adam Sandler, 48, at his arraignment Wednesday pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to two days of community service. He had been arrested a day earlier wearing the red furry costume made famous by the "Sesame Street" character.

Police did not disclose what Sandler was shouting, according to The New York Times, but several people posted on Twitter that Elmo was shouting anti-Semitic slurs.

In June, Sandler was removed in an ambulance and taken to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.

Sandler, formerly of Ashland, Ore., once ran a Cambodia-based porn site. Cambodian police arrested Sandler in 1999 and deported him. He is not related to the actor of the same name.
