Air Force One has touched down in Israel.

President Obama, who arrived at noon on Wednesday amid dozens of fluttering Israeli and American flags, is set to be greeted by an honor guard and will receive opening greetings from Israeli President Shimon Peres.

He will also tour an Iron Dome anti-missile battery, brought to Ben Gurion airport for his inspection before heading to Jerusalem to prepare for a diplomatic meeting and reception with Peres at the President's residence.

Obama will spend the next three days in Israel.
