Actor Andrew Koenig’s Body Believed to Have Been Found

The body of missing actor Andrew Koenig is believed to have been found.  Koenig is known for his performance as Richard Boner, on ABC’s “Growing Pains.”  Koenig is the son of Jewish actor Walter Koenig (“Star Trek”) whose parents were Russian immigrants.

From People.com:

A body believed to be that of missing Growing Pains star Andrew Koenig was found in a Vancouver park Thursday, police said.

Police and Keonig’s parents were scheduled to appear at an evening news conference to provide additional details.

Koneig, 41, disappeared on Feb. 16 while traveling to the British Columbia city.

Koenig’s parents were scheduled to appear on Larry King Live last night, but left before King could ask any questions.

The pair was scheduled to go on-air at 6:30 p.m. from the Canadian city, however news of the SeaWorld tragedy pushed their segment to the final five minutes of the show.

Given only a few minutes to discuss the latest news surrounding his missing son, Walter Koenig reportedly asked the crew to leave because there was not “enough time to do credit to what we had to say.”
